Smell Hound was inspired by a wet dog. Literally. 

Haggis, a Cairn Terrier with zero fear of rain. Mud, puddles, grass… the works. 

And then he’d come inside. 

The unmistakable wet dog smell would hit instantly, and linger. No matter what we tried. 

That’s when it clicked. Why is it so hard to actually get rid of bad smells at home? 

The Problem No One Was Solving. 

I went looking for a solution. Surely something existed, right? 

But everything fell into one of these categories: 

• Air fresheners that mask odours

• Harsh chemical sprays we didn’t want around pets 

• “Natural” products that didn’t actually work

There was nothing that ticked all the boxes. So we stopped searching. 

And started to build it myself.

After lots of research, I discovered something game changing.
